Starting in 1908, Kingsfield-Zurich Mennonite Church has been a gathering of God’s people in Huron County. While ZMC has had a variety of forms, leaders, programs and emphases, one thing has persisted throughout the years. That is our love for Jesus. He is our King, Saviour, Teacher, Healer and Friend.
We gather each week for worship at 9:30 on Sunday mornings. This is a chance to re-connect with God and with each other. It is a time of worship, sharing and growing in faith. While significant, Sunday mornings are a just a corner of our worship, discipleship and mission as the people of Kingsfield-Zurich Mennonite Church! We hope you’ll take a look around the website to learn a bit more about who we are and what we’re up to.
The following are some of the things we love to do together:
- Worship – Our Sunday morning worship gatherings are a tremendous time to connect with God through music, prayer, sharing, Scripture and preaching.
- Grow in Faith – We have a variety of groups both intergenerational and for specific age groups that meet for the purpose of studying Scripture, prayer, and pursuing Jesus together. Check out the ‘Programs’ page for more information.
- Caring for One Another – We love to spend time together. We’d love to have you spend time with us! We spend time together informally, and through events such as monthly potlucks and social activities. We also have a tremendous team of Deacons who give pastoral care in times of need to the body.
- Living on Mission – Much of our life on mission is not easily seen as it happens on sidewalks, in arenas, at the office and in community parks. We are called to be the presence of Jesus wherever we live and go. That being said, we also take part in various organized mission efforts in the local community and internationally. See our ‘Mission Partners’ tab under the ‘Resources’ section of the website.
